Essential criteria for postdoc (PD) posts:
· Excellent written/spoken knowledge of English language.
· PhD in biochemistry, molecular/cellular biology or equivalent field.
· Track record of first author publications in reputable journals.
· Advanced skills in biochemistry, molecular/cellular and cancer biology techniques.
· Commitment to work in a highly competitive field.
· A demonstrated ability to write scientific papers/grants.
· Ability to independently drive a research project and analyze data.
· Ability to work individually on own initiative and without close supervision, and as part of a team.
· Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
· Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

The Giamas lab at ZCMU (Binwen Campus, Hangzhou-China) invites exceptional postdoctoral researchers to contribute to groundbreaking discoveries in cancer biology and therapy (focusing predominantly on breast and brain tumors, but also other malignancies). Our lab is dedicated to raveling the complexities of cancer progression, metastasis and resistance, with a mission to translate insights into transformative clinical strategies. We are an active, diverse, vibrant research group and provide a stimulating and supportive research environment. We are committed to research excellence and to nurturing scientific careers amongst our trainees and junior faculty.
As a postdoctoral fellow you will:
· Lead high-impact projects with access to cutting edge tools and technology (e.g. single-cell sequencing, CRISPR screening, spatial transcriptomics/proteomics, PDX models, and others).
· Have access to state-of-the art infrastructure, including but not limited to: core facilities for genomics, proteomics, advanced microscopy, flow cytometry.
· Collaborate with clinicians, bioengineers and data scientists to bridge basic and translational research.
· Publish in top-tier journals and participate / present at international conferences.
